So much fantasy takes place in large, iconic cities like NYC, LA, London and New Orleans. But there are so many other amazing locations to set a story. Why do certain cities seem to get all the attention? How important is setting to the success of a story? What are some of the underused places we'd like to see in fantasy, and what makes them right for the genre?
