It seems like either all characters are able-bodied or it’s only the bad guys who get a limp, lisp, twitch or some other (unflattering) physical tag. Let’s talk about creating realistic and respectful characters—good and bad—with visible and non-visible disabilities, and discuss books that have done it right (or not).
